When my son was 6 months old doctors find 7*8 mm OS ASD L-R SHUNT hole in HEART. Feb 2018 we went for checkup, but hole size as same as the previous. So please tell us when it will close and it will be close normal or it requires surgery. He is 1 year 3 months baby his weight is around 8 kg and 2.65 kg when he was born.

ASD holes are not easily closed and may need surgery .However if it is very small like this surgery may not immediate requirement as decided your cardiologist.

ADD do not close spontaneously. There is always danger of paradoxical embolism thus you need to consult pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon.
