My son is 3.5 months old. We tested his stool and it shows the reducing substance as positive and after that the paediatrician suggested to give him isomil and now he has suggested to give him Nan lo lac. Is Nan lo lac safe for my baby as he is 3.5 months old.

Yes, it is safe. It is similar to other formula milks. Only it contains low lactose. It can be given to children with persistent diahorea.

Lactose intolerance in babies is very transient. Hope you are also give zinc supplement to the baby. If the baby is breast feed, you must continue breastfeeding. Formula feeds should be withdrawn completely as soon as baby is well for a couple of days.
