Did she receive chemotherapy for colon cancer? Peripheral neuropathy can be common in patients who have received chemo. Also Kindly check her vitamin B 12 and blood glucose levels. Vitamin B 12 deficiency, diabetes etc can also lead to burning sensation. Depending on the cause treatment can be suggested. For temporary relief you can try applying aloe vera gel, or soak feet in water mixed with epsom salt or apply coconut oil.
