Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query When blood glucose post lunch level reaches 200 mg or above, it is considered as diabetes. When that happens it is necessary to take medications to control glucose levels. Plus there has to be diet control and regular exercise as well as weight control. Looking at your weight and height, you are overweight. With a BMI of 26.42 kgs/Sq met (normal < 23 kgs/Sq Met) Your ideal weight should be about 65 kgs, which means there is a need to cut almost 9 to 10 kgs. Excess weight is an invitation for diabetes. So please consult your doctor and initiate the appropriate treatment. Thanks.
