Hi Doctor, I am 42 Years old hypertensive + diabetic and on telpres 80 (This tablet was changed by the doctor very recently from telpres 40) for hypertension. I was feeling a little uneasy So I checked my bp and it read 165/113. I took a few more readings at different times days just to monitor and readings are pretty much on the same range. Now I do not want to increase my bp medication so I have not consulted my doc again. This at times makes me slightly breathless. What should I do or is it just a psychological condition that I should ignore.

Don't ignore it any further, see your doctor at the earliest, better taking an extra tablet than exposing your self to the risks, also take less salt and low fat diet, walk regularly. Maybe you need investigations for any other reason increasing BP.
