I've been having an acne problem since the past few years. I've tried everything but it just does not go. I'm advised to use tretinoin cream for it, but I'm not sure I want a steroid based cream. Should I go for it?

Tretinoin is not a steroid. There are other options apart from tretinoin which may suit you. Visit a dermatologist and discuss all your concerns.
