I have been given librium 10 TDS for last few years now my psychiatrist told me to reduce it twice daily for one week then once daily for next week then stop. I find different schedules on net. Will you please tell me librium tapering schedule suitable for me?

Librium has a long half life and even if you stop it will be in the system and will not cause any withdrawl symptoms (that is the reason why doctors slowly taper drugs that are vbeing taken ). :you ca. N follw any regime does not matter. You can stop suddenly nothing should happen but before stopping what is the response of original condition for which it was prescribed has to be considered.
