Hello doctor, My age is 30 and until now I didn't have any issue. Recently I have undergone some tests for the deputation purpose and found some of the blood parameters are not within the range. They are Haemoglobin-17.6, PCV-51, RBC-5.97. Thyroid profiles: T3 - 1.16, T4 - 8.6, TSH- 9.02. It looks like Hypothyroidism. Do I need to do any further tests on this? Kindly suggest me what should I do to control this?

Thanks for the query. TSH 9.02 mU/L, is high. It is considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. No treatment is advocated at that level. However, if there are any troublesome symptoms of hypothyroidism present then treatment is needed. Apart from taking thyroxine in specific dose there is no other treatment. Thanks.
