I'm 20 years old and I have excess thyroid levels of greater than 150, there is some discharge of milk from my brasts. I'm not either breastfeeding or pregnant. What could be the reason for this? Is this a sign of breast cancer? Is there any solution to this problem? I'm quite worried about this. I'm dealing with very stress due to which my TSH levels are dangerously high. Please suggest me proper medication.

TSH levels are high because the thyroid is not functioning properly. Hypothyroidism can lead to hyperprolactinemia, which can stimulate the breasts to secrete milk. Please see a breast surgeon or an endocrinologist. They would examine you and if needed ask for an ultrasound. They would start you on eltroxin and repeat thyroid function after 6 weeks to adjust the dose. If the discharge persists after normalisation of TSH, see them again. They would need to rule out Breast pathology or pituitary adenoma. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.
