My name is amar, I am suffering from acute transient psychosis .I was diagnosed with this when I was 13 years old when my grandmother died. Since then I was consuming medicines after few years when I consulted other doctor from Delhi ,He suggested me that the dosage is very high and I can reduce the dose .He suggested me to take encorate 500 mg and aripiprazole. Over all I was really good in academics, sports and I was good athletic but after consuming these medicines I gained weight .Now I'm working as a software developer and my dosage is 250 mg dicorate 1 tablet in the night and I don't have any issue regarding health. So, can I stop this medication as it is the minimum dosage and can patient like that recover from this kind of disease. I had few relapse in the past and I recovered within 2 or 3 weeks. Please suggest if there is any alternative to this.
