I am diabetic for 26 years, after dinner at around 9 pm, with medication my fasting blood sugar at 6.30 in the morning is around 110. Then without taking any thing, I go for a walk & exercise for around two hours but when tested after that period blood sugar rises to around 170 while it should be reduced after walk & exercise. Please tell what may be the reason, should I take any medicine before walk?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In the morning when one exercises without taking any thing (food, fruits or some snack), following a heavy workout, body's internal glucose is mobilised for meeting the increased need. So there is an increase in the blood glucose. Thanks.
