I am suffering from palpitations from last 3 months and I am on metoprolol succinate fro last 1 month but it causes breath problems so doctor changes it to bisoprolol fumarate. He advice me to take this medication along with clonazepam for 3 more months. I still get fast heart beat sometimes but better than before. All the test ecg, echo are normal. I just want to ask how much time it will take to cure palpitations completely and what else can I do to recover more effectively and soon. I am very much tensed as when I stop taking medication heart again starts beating fast. Please suggest what to do as my cardiologist says I am normal am I am only 21 now. Is there any other method to recover faster.
