I am 41 years old male. My reports for Graves disease shows T3 261.97 T4 16.97 TSH 0.010 I am advice Neo-Mercazole 10 mg 3 tab daily and Ciplar-LA 40 1 tab daily for first 2 months. Will it cure and become normal or I need to go for other two method?

There are 3 causes of such thyroid levels, one of which is graves .to rule out other 2, you need ultrasound of thyroid. If it's really graves, you are on right path. If this treatment fails, then other 2 options need to be considered.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Graves disease (hyperthyroidism) can be controlled with anti-thyroid drugs. Treatment has to continue for at least 12 to 18 months. After that if the gland function becomes normal, then treatment may be discontinued. But the condition may revert after certain time (many months or so). There is no complete cure. Thanks.
