Hello, Thanks for the query. As you have been on treatment with Levothyroxine 100 mcg, for some time, so it is necessary to know the effect on TSH value. It is necessary to maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, to be free from the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Since it is a hormone deficiency disease, body needs that hormone (THYROXINE), daily for multiple vital functions including functioning of brain, heart, maintaining body temperature, it has to be supplemented every day for lifetime. There is no cure. Thanks.
