I am 41 years old woman. In the recent USG scan of abdomen and pelvis, it is noted that "Endometrial thickness is 10 mm" What does it mean, what is the treatment for this and what is future illness may occur? Presently, I am on medication of Thyronorm 75 mcg for hypothyroidism. Please advise.

Endometrial thickness more than 11 mm in postmenopausal woman is associated with incresed risk of endometrial cancer hence endometrial biopsy is advised in such situations.
