I am 26 years old Male. Weight - 70 KG. Recently I have taken Master health check up and got to know that I have a TSH value - 8.5 which is high. Is it danger at this range? Can you help me to reduce this by changing food habits or in any other way without using thyroid medicine. Because as per my knowledge of we start use medicine then should continue it for long time. Can you suggest?

Yes. First try to use tata iodised salt in unripe foemail. Avoid cauliflower and cabbaget.

TSH 8.5 is indicative of hypothyroid means your thyroid gland is prducing less hormone which is required for metabolism. At this level it is not dangerous. To compensate it thyroid hormone supplement is given, which you have to take indefinitely monitoring your TSH.
