I had a blood test recently for gallbladder stone surgery n my prothrombin time has come 16.8 secs. Clotting time liver enzymes ecg all is normal. Every other thing in blood test is normal n so is usg findings. Is the pt something to worry about? Is it fatal?

Is patient on anti coagulant drugs or taking disprin etc PT can be controlled by inj viamin-k. But what is cause? Repeat liver function tests Consult a gastroenterologist or liver expert My advice is to go for CT scan abdomen Sometimes cirrhosis or other diseases can be diagnosed by CT only. Let me know your progress.
