I have thyroid. Doctor gave a 25 mcg tablet and my doubt is my body is warm sometimes and in thermometer, it shows no fever due to thyroid body gets warm or not and need your help to reduce the thyroid? Suggest some foods.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. From the information given and drug prescribed it is clear that you have Hypothyroidism. In this condition a person is very sensitive to cold. There usually no warm feeling. Please inform your TSH, T3 & T4 values, plus weight and height and other symptoms that you may be having. Thanks.

If there is fever it will be reflected in therometer. Feeling warm may be there. Dose of thyroid hormone supplement is guided by TSH test. If you are taking thyroid hormone supplement get your TSH test done and consult your Physician.
