I take one tablet of olvance 40 at night after dinner I feel my blood pressure has increased .So can I take half a tablet of olvance 40 now and remaining half after dinner? Or should the tablet olvance 40 be taken whole i.e it should never be broken? If broken will it's efficacy be reduced?

Stick to your attending physician, advice, blood pressure is asymptomatic so it's just your sensation that tab increase s your BP as far as dose of bp medicine is concerned trust your physician and pay him regular visit may be bimonthly or whatever he suggests.

It can be divided, but don't think too much about your BP. Take tablet regularly and measure BP only once every month on fixed date after resting for ten minutes, avoid any other BP care, it causes trouble, doesn't help.
