I am feeling tumor kind of thing behind my neck. I found out it yesterday only. Then I consulted a doctor who recommended me to take Cefolac XL 200, Divon S and Zipant 40 medicines. Doctor said it's cervical lymphadenopathy. Today I'm feeling little bit pain there. What should I do? Is there anything to worry about it. I'm in doubt so please give me some advice.

Please see a head and neck surgeon or a Surgical oncologist. They would take history and examine you in details. If significant node then they may ask for an fnac or a core biopsy. There are many causes from dandruff to dental infection to tuberculosis or cancer which can lead to cervical lymphadenopathy. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.

I hope there are no lice in your hair or any infection in your scalp. But if so then swelling might be due to infection. Please consult again if pain does not get better after 3 days of taking the medicines.
