Hello dctr .I m a patient of hypothyroidism. Nd on 100 mcg thyronorm. Bt recently I have done with my blood test all the levels are normal and my TSH is1. 5 NW .I want to ask can I reduce the thyronorm intake e.g 75 MCG bcz m facing a excessive hair loss from past 15 days. Nd I also read. That thyroid medication cause the hairloss.

Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. TSH 1.5 mU/L is within the expected range. So there is no reason to reduce the dosage for now. Reduction may lead to increase in TSH. Which will again cause uncontrolled hypothyroidism. Thanks.
