Recently I noted that my heart rate is almost always between 100 to 120 And my blood pressure is 140/90. I am heavy mobile user, late night sleeper, some times I also faces anxiety and palpitation. Please suggest about my clinical condition. Heart rate consistently above 100 leads to any short or long term complication?

Hello Lybrate user Increased heartbeat and palpitations could be one of the symptoms of anxiety, however it could also be due to some stress and lack of proper sound sleep. It would be beneficial for you to balance and maintain a healthy lifestyle such as proper diet, 7-8 hours sleep, exercise routine, avoiding heavy usage of phone etc to manage stress. Also share your thoughts and worries to with someone and look for solutions of the problems. For professional help you can consult a clinical psychologist for better management of the symptoms.
