I am a newly diagnosed diabetic with hypothyroidism. And recently underwent cholecystectomy. Shall I eat less food more frequently or stick to 2 meals a day intermittent fasting? And which grains to be avoided completely?

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. In diabetes usual advice is to take small and frequent meals so that there is no excess glucose rise. This helps available Insulin to act better. If one can manage it in that manner hen it is really very good. Most important is to achieve strict glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. If you have any doubts please come back. Thanks.
