I started drinking long time back since college days with a year or two gaps in between. In January (2018) my BP was 160/100 with Anxiety and went to doctor. I was prescribed Concor 5 mg, reduced to 2.5 mg and then 1.25 mg and then stopped. Started drinking again and same issue with same medicine by same doctor and now I completely stopped drinking and reduced Concor to 1.25 mg. (BP 110/80 - 120/90 with heart rate 60-89) Echo test was fine with cardiologist as well. With Concor sometimes before sleeping the heart rate goes down to 53. With anxiety I have palpitations and heart rate sometimes go up to110. I am scared that I might have arrhythmia or heart disease. Should I stop Concor 1.25 mg or should I continue? If I take any cold medicine or allergy medicine the heart rate goes up to 106.

This is not arrhythmia. All this is normal behavior of body with these medicines. Avoid measuring pulse. Avoid alcohol to stay healthy.
