I get pain in my waist and lower back, not in the centre when I wake in morning it will remain for some time and happens sometimes from last four months. I gained weight from last 6 months around 4 kgs. I am not able to decide that this pain is from weight gain or ulcer or from sleep apnea or else something. One thing to tell you I am suffering from sleep apnea and I gone through surgery in my mouth for removing excess tissues before two years.

Do you have morning stiffness too If yes then you may be having early features of arthritis (specifically spondyloarthopathy) It is usually not associated with sleep apnea and weight gain.
