My age is 45 years and I am diabetes patient my diabetes report is always 300-500 today it comes two hours before taking food 310 and after two hours of taking food 475 .I am taking also GLYCOMET-GP 2 medicine but it not give relief to me. So please give me a suggestion which medicine should I take for controlling my diabetes. My kidney dialysis is also done one time. So please suggest me which medicine is best for me.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is really shoking to know that you have such high glucose levels and still you have not bothered to get correct treatment initiated. With such high glucose levels, a number of long term complications of diabetes do set in much earlier, affecting retina, coronary arteries, peripheral nerves, blood vessels of lower limbs and kidneys. Please check HbA1c%. Ideally fasting blood glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. If you have any doubts please come back. Thanks.
