Hello, Thanks for the query. For hypothyroidism the treatment is to take adequate dosage of Levothyroxine, which she is already on. Further, it is important to maintain TSH level around 3 to 4 mU/L to be free from all the symptoms of the condition. From her weight & height it is clear that with a BMI of 34 kgs/Sq meter is she is close to being in grade 2 obesity. Her ideal body weight should be about 56 kgs, which means she has an excess of 28 kgs. This needs to be reduced. Efforts to reduce weight will succeed if her hypothyroidism is under control. Thanks.
