I was diagnosed with some mental illness like some condition of mania and schizophrenic depression at the age of 18. I took help of psychiatrist and recovered from it and Initially he prescribed some medicines and advised me to take for long time like 3-4 months. After taking those medicines, I usually feel dull, lethargic, sleepy and feeling loss of confidence in me. And with its side effect, I became obese and overweight as time goes by. I took medicine for one month and after that I discontinued them just because I didn't feel good after taking them .But sometimes, I get mild attacks of depression due to over thinking and stress. I was noticing that almost every once in 2 years am facing with some psychiatric attacks and after taking the prescribed medicines, within 2-3 days I become normal. One day I visited another psychiatrist and asked him for the permanent solution of my mild attacks which I was facing once in every couple of years. He prescribed some medicine and told me to complete the course of that medicines and if I discontinue them, I have to face attacks very frequently. But am not feeling comfortable with the medicines he prescribed. Though I took them for 15 days and after that I again discontinued. It's almost 4 years over, but I didn't face any attacks. So finally I am requesting to help me with my psychiatric issue and suggest for a good way of mental health without medication.
