I am 49 years male, diabetic since 2008. I have been using medicine to control diabetes, hyperthyroidism and cholesterol. Now, both thyroid and cholesterol under control. For diabetes, now taking oral glimepiride 80 Mg + 500 Mg Metformin tablet twice a day before a meal. however, last 3-4 months the glucose levels are showing high. Current reading - fasting 228 mg/dL and PP 290 mg/dL. Doing a walk for 40-45 minutes daily. Please suggest medication.
