My brother has pleural effusion. Which has diagnosed with adeno carcinoma. How frequently we have to take out water. Doctors say it has reached to bones. What are the survival chances and survival period. He is 63 years old and in good health.

The survival rate is very minimal as the cancer has reached the bones and you have to take the water out every 2-3 days if it gets filled by then

We do not talk of cure. There is survival benifit in months/year by medciine. Better consult a medical onchologist.
