Can scaling completely remove tartar? How can scaling remove stains in between the teeth? My dentist said that I would at least need to go 2 times. The first time the stains are somewhat gone.

Scaling can remove tartar and stains. Deep seated stains penetrated inside the tooth cannot be removed. They can lighten with Bleaching. 2 sittings are required if there is too much of tartar.
