I have been suffering anxiety and panic attacks for about 7-8 months now, my psychiatrist prescribed Uvox 50 mg and melzap 0.25 mg. I've been a lot better after this medication and I'm finding healthy ways of fighting my anxiety. I used to take the medicines in morning and evening but since a month I have only been taking these medicines at night. I want to start tapering the dose and eventually stop with the medication. But I'm really scared of the withdrawals. Can you please guide me as to how do I start tapering?

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Good to hear your improvements and willingness to stop the medicine. Just be aware that medicine are just one part of any psychic treatment and in parallel you need work on solution like psychotherapy to manage your anxious thoughts and triggers. Would suggest you to adopt and practice any such solution in parallel before you withdraw the medicine to get a long-term and permanent relief. Be positive. You will be alright soon.
