Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually when TSH is in the range of 6 to 9.9 mU/L there is no treatment given as at that level the condition is called Sub-clinical hypothyroidism. However, you have already been asked to take th 50 mcg of Levothyroxine so it is necessary to check TSH level again. For becoming pregnant it is necessary to have normal TSH levels, preferably around 2 mU/L. High level of TSH is not good for getting conception as well as fetal growth and normal delivery.
