Hi, My Wife is 8 months pregnant, Her haemoglobin levels are ranging between 8.5 to 9.3 mostly. She has been recently diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia trait. Her Haemoglobin A2 (Hb A2) level value were found as 94.2. Serum IRON study reports were in range. She is regularly taking folvite 5 mg and Orofer XT tablets per day. Could you suggest some fruits/leafy vegetables / Nuts/Cereals which can be helpful in increasing Haemoglobin levels and also mention those fruits /Vegetables / Nuts / Cereals which are rich in FOLIC ACID. ANY OTHER TREATMENT DETAILS IF PANEL DOCTORS COULD SUGGEST.
