I had a thyroid problem. In 2011 surgery done for multinodular goitre. I have one lobe in right side this is also associated with multinodular. My tsh is not maintained well. I am using 100 mg tab. Now my tsh around 15. How to rectify my problem. Is there any treatment for hormone balance.

Hello, Thanks for the query. To maintain optimal TSH levels only remedy is to take adequate dosage of Levothyroxine. Ideally TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L.Therefore present TSH is definitely very high. That means present dosage of Levothyroxine is not adequate. Thanks.
