I am suffering from acne vulgaris with dark spots. My doctor prescribed me clear gel and dermadew glow. I found no provement so my doctor prescribed me tretin iso 10 mg. I was reluctant to use it because of its varied side effects. Now I have started taking it. I have used retino AC gel in the past. It gave me better results. Can I now combine tretin iso with retino AC gel gel. Please suggest. Also suggest me a best treatment for dark spots post tretin usage. Thanks in advance.

Hi. You can use both simultaneously depends how bad your acne is .Tretin iso ll make your skin dry and return ac gel ll further dry it. You have to make sure you use a good moisturizer oil free based to main ph. Dark spots can be treated aesthetically with chemical peels or co2 fractional laser depending on the severity.
