I am 32 years old male due to certain job related issues I had severe anxiety and depression about 1 month back. I also lost my appetite and wasn't not able to sleep properly. I consulted a psychiatrist and was prescribed to take clobazam 5 mg twice daily and Ecilitalopram 20 mg once daily before bedtime. I am feeling much better now but my appetite and sleeping issue still seems to persists without any improvements. I also have a history of anxiety and stress related issues before. My current psychiatrist just gave some sleeping pills and vitamins to improve my appetite for my problem which doesn't seem to work at all. Can anyone please help me out my lost of appetite and sleeping problem is wreaking a havoc in my daily life and has now now become a sore of my anxiety and depression relapsing.

Dear Kamster, Please continue Clobazam and Escitalopram for few more weeks along with vitamins. It takes few weeks to improve your appetite and sleep. Sometime the doctor may increase the dose of escitalopram or shift to another sedating antidepressant.
