My mother has undergone depression treatment post her cancer episode, but it seems like she is again having depression. She has become very stubborn, hypersensitive and doesn't take care of herself. She keeps talking to herself. But she is not ready to take any form of medical help. How do I deal with this situation? She is 62 years old.

Dear lybrate-user, Please talk to your doctor who treated her earlier for depression, about your concern and her non co operation. Alternately her cancer doctor can call her for a check up and refer her to psychiatrist.
