Meditation can be done in many ways depending upon the purpose for which it is done. Breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation are good ways to relax your body and mind. Concentration can be improved with relaxation exercises too. It is however imperative that you learn and practice the right ways to meditate. Psychiatric problems of stress and anxiety may causes hindrances in methods to meditate in case they are moderate to severe in presentation. So it is important to deal with these issues under the guidance of a psychiatrist.
