I am taking anxiety medicines for the past 9 years. I was taking half of Pristiq 50 mg and inderal 10 mg for the last 4 years. And recently my Dr. increased it to pristiq 50 mg (instead of half tablet). Meanwhile I was reading a anxiety self help book "Dare by BARRY McDONAGH" and followed the methodologies given in that book. It helps me a lot for overcoming my anxiety and I have decided to stop pristiq (since it is working on neurotransmitters, I am very much worried about it). So I have again reduced it to half tablet for almost 20 days and stopped it completely before 5 days. In the initial days I had some withdrawal symptoms like brain zaps and sleeplessness but am quiet ok now. But while reading about the withdrawal symptoms I came across few articles stating that withdrawal symptoms may occur after few days also. So I am really worried about the withdrawal symptoms now. Please let me know whether I can continue with it or else again I need to take the medication to avoid the withdrawal symptoms.
