My wife age 42. Weight 90 kgs. Her TT3-117.17 TT4-10.6 TSH-6. 62. Sugar levels are normal. What is the treatment for it. Please suggest good medicine for it.

Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 6.52 mU/L is considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. Usually no treatment is advicated for this, unless the patient has troublesome symptoms of that condition. You may also get anti TPO antibodies test done, that will help to find out whether she has hypothyroidism or not. I await your response. Another aspect she is morbidly obese with a BMI of 38.75 kgs/Sq meter. This could be due to hypothyroidism. Thanks.
