My TSH value was 7.5 I started with thyronorm 75 mg. In between I stopped medicine due to some other issues and TSH shouted up to 10.5. then my doctor prescribed 88 mg. And it reduced to 4.5 and subsequently to 1. 93. In 4 months time. Still I am taking 88 mg. Should I continue the same dosage or reduce. If to reduce. To which level should I reduce?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. From the information given it is clear that earlier dose of Levothyroxine was not enough. Now with 87.5 mcg, dose TSH is well controlled. Ideally it should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. However 1.93 mU/L is really excellent. So no need to change the dosage. Thanks.
