My father 73 years has small multiple stones laying in the duck of gallbladder since 2010, he has never experience pain or discomfort now his diabetes Dr. advice him for laparoscopic surgery, I wanted to know since he is diabetic on insulin considering his age whether he go for surgery or any medicine, treatment is available for gallbladder stone?

Hi lybrate-user. Let me explain yu in laymen terms. For a diabetic patients with gall stones is equivalent to sitting on a volcano waiting to erupt. If he is fit. Go for surgery at earliest. Without looking left and right. Leave that to yur doctors please. Thanks.
