I am suffering with thyroid my tsh level 201 in last 2 months then my doctor give me 75 mcg thyronorm tab. Now a days my tsh level is 6.69 and anti tpo is110. So please suggest me. 75 mcg continue with it.

Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. You have hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (HT). Treatment for this condition is same as for other hypothyroidism. Usually when adequate dosage of Levothyroxine is taken, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which level all the symptoms are in check. Therefore your current level is higher. There may be a need for increasing the dose a bi. To 87.5 mcg. Then check TSH after 6 weeks to see if desired level is reached. Thanks.
