I had an right temporal choroid plexus AVM, due to surgical complications I underwent gamma knife radio surgery last year. And asked to follow up every six months, six months ago there was improvement in shrink of AVM but there was proliferation. Doctor asked to come after six months with MRI. Yesterday in MRI report it was mentioned that there was still proliferation. And within six months my eye myopia has increased. Does proliferation affect my vision. I am currently on levipil 500 mg. Please help.

No proliferation doesn't increase myopia, but you should be in regular check up with your eye specialist.

Proliferation does not cause increase in myopia. However, some anti-epileptic drugs are known to cause myopic shift. Please discuss with your neurologist. Also, myopia can increase upto 18-20 years of age. So the increase in myopia in your case may not be related to your neurological condition.
