I am 46 year old and have problem with depression. I am taking Ventalex 500 mg and stop after recovery. Recently I have started petril 0.25 mg. Its safe to take alone this medicine. My depression is not bad.

DON'T USE PETRIL 0.25 mg, it contains Clonzepam, which is a Benzodiazepine, long term intake of this medicine causes dependence, which manifests as tremors, palpitations, excess sweating, sleep, memory, concentration disturbances. Dear Alpana, Petril being a benzodiazepine drug, you may become dependent on it. When you are not depressed, avoid petril. If depressed, go in for antidepressant.
