Dear lybrate-user, It is normal to lose about 50-100 strands of hair per day. However, if you experience a greater loss of hair, then I would suggest that you undergo a few blood tests to rule out the commonest causes of hair fall. In addition, keep a watch on your diet. A balanced diet comprising of vegetables, fruits, nuts and protein (such as egg or chicken) is good for skin and hair. Keep regular hours, i.e. Sleep and eat at the right time. Exercise or walk regularly. Consult a doctor for further interventions if required.
