I'm suffering from type 1 diabetes from last three years Nd taking human mixtard insulin. I'm worried about my family planning because I'm scared that if my baby will born .will it also suffer from diabetes? I'm not obese also. Really worried about it? Sometimes I think that I should not plan a baby? Hope you will give me full information and I'll get any good advice from you.

It is true that type 1 diabetes runs in families and have genetic basis. But that does not mean that your baby would be affected by it. It may and may not get affected. That should not keep you away from having babies.
