Hello, Thanks for the query. Peripheral Neuropathy is one of the most common long term complication of long standing diabetes. It is seen even when blood glucose may be well controlled. However, in case glucose levels are not in good control then symptoms are seen much early. When one is having very good glucose control Fasting should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 7. I have no idea how good is the glucose control achieved by you as there is no mention of actual blood levels as well as HbA1c%. For getting relief from the symptoms of neuropathy, prime need is to achieve a strict glucose control, plus one may use certain drugs like prgabalin or Gabapentine along with methylcobalamine, lipoleic acid. Another important aspect looking at your weight and height it is clear that with a BMI of 28.34 kgs/Sq meter, you are overweight and very close to being obese. This hampers glucose control. Your ideal body weight should be about 57 kgs, excess weight hampers glucose control. Thanks. Edit Answer.
