I have been suffering from a suffocation problem since ninth grade. It's not claustrophobia cause I feel suffocated even in open spaces. I have consulted a doctor about it and he gave me some medicines saying it's because of stress but I still get suffocated even when I'm not stressed out.

If you are not suffering from some allergy or asthma then it's because of some psychological issue. Detail discussion and evaluation needed to confirm the diagnosis and accordingly treatment can be suggested. Don't worry it easily treatable with some counseling and medication. Consult a psychiatrist nearby or online so that thorough evaluation is done and accordingly treatment can be finalized. All the best.
